Brad is a physiotherapist grounded in evidence-based care, focused on diagnosing and treating the root causes of pain, movement dysfunction, and injury. Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, he completed his Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) at the University of Manitoba in 2010 and practiced in orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy clinics in Ontario before relocating to Calgary in 2013.

He has invested significantly in post-graduate clinical education. Brad is a certified Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Specialist, having completed an extensive training and examination process at the mastery level in Denver, Colorado. He also holds certifications in Functional Dry Needling and Manual and Manipulative Therapy (Curtin University, Australia) and is authorized by the College of Physiotherapy Alberta to perform dry needling and spinal manipulation. Brad brings all of his clinical expertise to his work, with the goal of providing the best possible care for his patients.

At NXT LVL Physiotherapy, Brad applies a systems-oriented approach — evaluating how muscle weakness, compensatory patterns, and movement dysfunction contribute to pain and limitations. He integrates MAT, manual therapy, targeted exercise prescription, and education to help patients regain strength, improve movement quality, and reduce pain.

Brad has a particular interest in addressing muscle imbalances, complex movement patterns, and foot/ankle dysfunction, and he works with a broad range of patients — from those with chronic musculoskeletal issues that haven’t responded to traditional therapy to active individuals seeking performance improvement.

Away from clinical work, Brad stays active in the gym and values ongoing personal fitness as part of his commitment to lifelong learning and modelling healthy movement. Patient reviews consistently highlight his clarity in explanation, thorough assessments, and practical treatment plans that produce measurable improvements.
